Today On Bilerico: Chris Colfer, The Face Of Hope

This image was on PostSecret this week. I think it says volumes about growing acceptance. Glee's writers are changing our culture, and it's wonderful.

How I wish there was such a character on TV when I was young and had no one to turn to. My only conception of what it meant to be gay was Billy Crystal's character on Soap, and I wanted no part of it.

Glee is brilliant and fun and thought provoking, and I agree with Birdie that it is helping to change the culture - in a much better way than Soap ever did.

Wow, that's a great postsecret. Like Jay, I wish there had been such a character when I was growing up. Would have cut down on the self-loathing a lot.
