I'm home, after about 30 hours in the hospital. The surgeon was very pleased at the outcome, and I'm feeling pretty good. I still use the pain meds and I'm moving slowly, but I am moving.
My friend is keeping me well cared for and laughing, and that's the best medicine there is. Now I'm supposed to rest for two weeks. Any tips on how that's done?
You need some books! I recommend "The Book of Negros"...it's long and powerful. And what about the Harry Potter series?! Lay in bed and read. It will be a lovely recovery then.
I've been thinking of you so much, I'm surprised you haven't called me and told me to get out of your airspace! LOL! Big hugs!

Wow. Two weeks of rest! Good luck with that. xoxoxox
I'm pleased that the surgeon is pleased. I'm pleased you're feeling pretty good. Use the pain meds as needed, but don't turn into Liza or anything.
You'll find you'll be able to rest. Unfortunately, when two weeks are up, you might find you want to keep resting : )

Glad the worst is over, will pray for continued blessings.
Take full advantage of your time of rest.
