Oh my. This picture gives no sense of scale, so it's hard to know if I'm looking at something that's 8 inches or 6 feet long. At first I thought it might be a chair, with one's butt sitting on the horizontal surface on the right side of this picture. That left me confused about what all the rest of it was. That swoosh doesn't look as if it's positioned well for a leg rest.
When I checked out the link I was surprised, among other reasons, that it wasn't shown in use. I'd be interested to see it performing its function. On someone else. NOT me!
I'm guessing it's a shoe. Have you seen the shoes lately?!

I was thinking shoe, because it reminded me of a cake server someone brought to an event at work that was shaped like one.
If it was a little bigger and not clad in leather, I could totally see building a garden around it as sculpture. ; )
